Mr Mohau Molefi

Mohau has worked in the mining industry for more than 30 years and holding various senior and executive positions. He was a mine manager at Impala Platinum Mines and Lonmin. He was a General Manager at a Coal Mine in Middelburg. Furthermore, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Siyanda Resources (Pty) Ltd.

On acquisition of Union Mine by Siyanda Resources he played a dual role of COO and GM where he turned around a loss making mine into a profitable within six months. On taking over the mine was producing an average of 175 000 tons per month and he took it to 240 000 tons per month. A 37% improvement while costs went down. More than 5 000 jobs were therefore saved.

Qualifications are as follows:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • National Higher Diploma in Mining Engineering.
  • Mine Manager Certificate of Competency.
Mr Mpho Skweit

Mpho started his career in 2005, working as a trainee water plant operator for Sedibeng Water. Since then he has filled a variety of positions – being elected as an Independent Ward Councillor and Executive Member of Greater Taung Local Municipality in 2006.

In 2007 Mpho pursuit his business interests in mining and became an Executive Director of Teemaneh Trading and Investments which was doing Diamond explorations in Taung. Mpho Skweit is the Chief Executive Officer of Jepa Resources and a shareholder. He is a significant shareholder and non-executive chairman of Depston 10 Holdings which owns a major stake in Ntsimbintle.

Qualifications are as follows:

  • BSc degree in Water Engineering.
  • Certificate in Municipal Financial Management NQF Level 6.

Chief Financial Officer

Clement has 15+ years’ experience in the governmental, education, mining and FMCG industries.

He has a phenomenal ability to manage the review of governance processes, internal controls, and risk management systems and has excellent risk management skills and a full value chain of internal audit, managing stakeholder portfolios, audit committees, board committees, audit and risk committees, governance reporting, methodology, practice development and quality assurance.

Qualifications are as follows:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Finance.
  • South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles.
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B Comm.) Degree.
  • Diploma in Financial Management – (Cum-Laude)
  • Certificate in Managing the Employment Process (Cum-Laude)
